General FAQ’s

When will I be contacted for a research study?

o   We match participants to research studies they are qualified for. Each study has a different qualification, and we try to connect as many different participants as possible. Keep an eye on your email or a call from us and we will keep you connected to upcoming studies.

How will I find out about new studies?

o   A survey will go out to your email or you will receive a call from Spencer Research to make sure you qualify for any upcoming studies. Once you are qualified, we will get you scheduled for the day/time of the study.

How often can I participate in research studies?

o   Most of our clients have restrictions on past research participation and this can range from 1 to several months in between research studies.

Do I get paid to participate?

o   Yes! Our respondents are compensated for the study they participate in. Compensation varies depending on the study, length of test, and return visits.

Do you screen in person?

o   No, we use a combination of on-line screening and calling to find respondents for our research studies. Please be sure to add your name to our on-line database to qualify for upcoming studies.

Children Studies FAQ’s

Can children participate in any research studies?

o   Definitely! You can add your child to your profile when you sign up or call our recruiting team to add them (614) 488 – 3123

What age range of children can participate in research studies?

o   Children of all ages can participate if they are qualified for a research study. Children as young as 4 and as old as 17 have participated in our studies.

Do I need to accompany my child during the test?

o   If your child can read and answer questions, then you do not have to accompany them in the test center. If they are unable to read/answer questions on their own, or you are uncomfortable with them being along, then we would ask for your support during the test.

How will my child be notified of a study?

o   All children under the age of 18 will be contacted through their parent/guardian and will need written consent to participate.

Payment FAQ’s

I am having trouble activating my card…

o   Your card is pre-loaded and ready for use. For balance inquiries please call 1-866-230-3809

o   You cannot use your card at an ATM or bank for cash

o   You cannot use your card as payment for bills

o   At checkout: Run card as credit, no PIN required

o   At gas stations: Present your card to an attendant inside the gas station as your card will not work at the pump

Will my card expire?

o   Yes, the pre-loaded card does have an expiration date that is located on the back of the card. Funds not used before the expiration date are non-reimbursable and cannot be recovered.
